The Department of Mathematics established in 1968, offers UG programme in Mathematics. The syllabus of this program is framed by the Shivaji University. The Syllabus is very useful for students to acquire Mathematical and statistical knowledge as well as programming skills. The Department of Mathematics has been conducting various activities like Guest Lectures, Wallpapers, Expert Lecture Series, Industrial Visits, Online and Offline Quiz Competitions, Problem Solving, Interactive teaching and ICT based teaching methods are adopted to improve student learning.
The Department runs a short-term course in Python, C and C++ Language, Scilab, Combinatorics, Vedic Mathematics, Basic mathematics for competitive exams.. It introduces students with computer languages like Python and Sci-lab. The Department organized National Web-seminar. ‘Extension Activity’ is arranged for the students to acquire knowledge of mathematics in primary and secondary schools.

Computer Laboratory
The computer laboratory is equipped with 12 computers, Internet Connectivity and Software for enhancing computer language skills such as C and C++, Scilab, Python.
